In 2013, we started making soap in our kitchen, not because we needed another hobby, but because we couldn't find what we wanted in stores. Soaps that were actually clean, actually vegan, and didn't smell like a chemical factory.
We named ourselves after the Waterfall Glen Forest Preserve, a place of natural beauty just down the road from where every bar is still handcrafted today. Nature has always been our inspiration, and respect for it drives everything we do.

Our Journey
The First Batch
It started on a kitchen table in Illinois with a single recipe, a dream, and a commitment to doing things differently. We couldn't find soap that met our standards (truly clean, truly vegan), so we made our own.
First Farmers Market
We brought our soaps to the Naperville Farmers Market and sold out in three hours. The community spoke, and we listened. This was the moment we knew Waterfall Glen was bigger than a kitchen hobby.
Guild Membership
Became a long-standing member of the Handcrafted Soap & Cosmetics Guild, joining a community of artisan soap makers dedicated to quality and craftsmanship.
99% Plastic-Free
We redesigned our packaging from the ground up and cut plastic out of 99% of it. Biodegradable seals, recycled cardboard, soy-based inks.
10 Years & 30+ Scents
A decade of soap-making, 30+ unique scents across bar soaps, body butters, and specialty products. Thousands of happy customers and a community that continues to grow every day.
Frog Family Launch
Introduced the Frog Family Collection with eight individually boxed, frog-shaped character soaps, each with their own personality and scent. A hit with kids, collectors, and anyone who loves a little bathroom joy.
Still Handmade
Every bar is still cold-processed by hand in Illinois. Same values, same commitment, bigger reach. Now available nationwide with subscriptions, bundles, and over 30 unique scent stories.

Cold-Process Craft
Our method preserves natural glycerin for richer lather and happier skin. Every bar cures for 4 to 6 weeks. Hand-blended essential oil blends create richly developed aroma stories.
Story-Driven Scents
Each scent is a place, a memory, a moment. We capture the essence and nuances of 'moments in time' through our signature layered essential oil blends.

Our workshop is where the magic happens. It's a place of continuous product development, experimentation with new scent combinations, and a lot of laughter. Every bar starts as an idea: a scent memory, a travel experience, a customer request.
From hand-blending essential oils to pouring molds to the 4 to 6 week curing process, every step is done with intention. We're not a factory. We're a workshop where people care deeply about what they're making and who they're making it for.
